How the check works
We take the exchange's own 15-minute prices for your window and walk your grid through every candle, filling each level as price crosses it and carrying the position the grid builds. Inside a candle we assume the order that hurts a grid most. Grid orders pay the maker fee, entry and close pay the taker fee, and funding uses the real settlements. Your exchange will differ a little on fills; the direction of the answer will not.
It is the same engine we used to audit our own published setups. Followed as published, they lost money on average, which is why we stopped quoting win rates. See the record.
